Room in the roof trusses, or attic trusses, are an ideal way to increase the habitable area of a house, or improve storage area.

From a selling point of view, by creating an extra room, even if it is not used immediately by the purchaser, it can add to the salability of a property by offering the prospect of enlarging the house to accommodate increase in family or as a quest room/study room.

Attic trusses are manufactured in a similar way to standard trusses, but due to the added loadings, and the lack of full triangulation, normally have larger timber sections, which in turn increase the price.
